Melody Bear®, Milligan Bear® and Melody Movement® Classes

Malone Dance Academy re-introduces its Pre-School Ballet Class due to popular demand.  There will be limited spaces available... and classes are beginning to fill up quickly.  To enrol please contact Principal, Mrs Cheryl Havern, 0044 7745530869.

Classes commence in January 2010 with the introduction of Melody Bear®, Milligan Bear® and Melody Movement® Classes - (a specific fun tailored pre-school dance syllabus).

What to expect from a Melody Bear® Movement Class?

This class which offers a syllabus aimed at nursery and foundation age children introduces children to dance and movement using the natural actions of the body such as walking, running, jumping, skipping, hopping and galloping.

Through different dance movements and exercises the children will develop essential motor skills-those of the limbs-and the balance and coordination of the whole body.

This syllabus helps children to explore and develop communication skills and self expression. The themes of the Melody Bear Movement syllabus haved been designed to spark immagination and to appeal to both boys and girls.

Not only will your child/ren develop essential skills for the dance classroom but it can be seen that children starting an early dance or exercise routine tend to be more advanced in the academic classroom as they pick up valuable listening and phsyical skills that transend into their early academic learning. simple things such as listening to the teacher, working in a group, developing their own immagination etc all help in the early stages of a childs development.
